Saving Lives Through Donation: ChainFree Knoxville
ChainFree Knoxville is a nonprofit organization that gives dogs who have been chained up new fencing, so that they may roam free! Their main goal is to help as many dogs be chain free as possible. We are so excited to donate $2,000 this month to this great animal advocate!
About Them
ChainFree Knoxville started in March 2021 in response to the hundreds of chained dogs throughout their city. They built their first dog fence in November 2021 with volunteers and partners and have continued ever since.
This organization is 100% volunteer based, which makes them a donation run advocate for chained dogs! They provide free fencing to homes for as many families as they can. The best practice they offer is working with each individual dog or family to figure out the best possible solution for that pet! They are extremely hands on with this process.
Fun Fact: ChainFree Knoxville builds an average of 3 fences a month for single and multi family dogs!

Why We Donate
At JSL, we always look for the most dedicated animal organizations out there. We chose to donate $2,000 to ChainFree Knoxville because of the work that they do. They have given so many dogs a better life with these fences. No longer are the animals that they help confined to small spaces or tethered outside without range of motion. Their success rate is overwhelming!
Their staff is phenomenal at giving these animals the best life possible! Since they are volunteer based, the staff take time from their lives to build as many fences as they can! They truly make the world a better place for dogs and families alike.
