Saving Lives Through Donation: Rafiki's Rescue

Rafiki's Rescue is a non profit animal rescue in California that works with special needs and critical animal case to rehabilitate them for a new and furrever home. We are so proud to donate to them this July! Learn more about Rafiki's Rescue below!

About Them:

Rafiki's Rescue specializes in and aims to educate the public in caring for those labeled "less desirable." Special needs and critical case animals whom are broken to the world, but not to them, hold a very special place in their (and our) hearts.

Fun Fact: Rafiki's Rescue was founded in 2020, in Orange County, CA that works to rehabilitate, foster, and place animals into loving forever homes.

This month, we want to focus on one special cat, Baby Bird (pictured below, to the left). She is such a good girl, but has been in and out of the vet due to complications. She needs all the help and love that we can give, so JSL is proud to be able to help her and so many others at Rafiki's Rescue this month.

Why We Donate

At JSL, we always look for the most dedicated animal organizations out there. We chose to donate $1,000 to Rafiki's Rescue because of the work that they do. They have given so many animals a better life at their rescue. They really stride to provide love, care, and safety until each and every animal finds their forever home.

They aim to offer education as well as assistance in special needs cases. They care for the most broken, vulnerable, overlooked, yet deserving animals of all kinds and species!
